This means they are operating illegally, and often are using people that do not work for them full time and have probably never moved furniture before. This often leads to damage to your goods, and they will have no mover’s insurance to cover the damages.
All My Sons Moving and Storage of Chicago is a premier, licensed and insured local and long distance moving company in Chicago. We employ full time, professional movers that have years of experience and take care of your goods just as they would with their own goods. Our employees take the time and care to pad wrap and protect your furniture while we are transporting your goods, whether it be local moving or long distance moving. This protects the furniture while it is in transition and keeps it just as it was when it was at your place of origin.
For a local move, All My Sons charges by the hour. We bill in quarterly hours and won’t charge you for an entire extra hour should we go 15 minutes into an hour. For example, if your local move takes 3 hours and 15 minutes, we will only charge you for 3 hours and 15 minutes and do not round up to 4 hours, saving you money! For a long distance move, the charge is determined by the weight of the shipment and how far it is going.
